The First Vice President Ms. Lavinia Fratila and the Vice President Mr. Florin Botonogu from the Institute of International Exchange were invited to the "Globalization and Anti-globalization: Problems and Countermeasures of International Cooperation in Emergency Management" forum held for International Academic Forum for the 100th Anniversary of Yunnan University on June 28, 2022. The participants mainly include experts and professors from the School of Government, Yunnan University, as well as experts and scholars in related fields from Greece, Thailand and other countries.
Transnational and cross-regional emergencies and disasters have significantly increased during the past few years, with devastating effects on human productivity and life. The use of emergency management is now a crucial tool for minimizing losses. By inviting foreign specialists to exchange views, this international academic conference seeks to learn about the most recent advancements in this academic discipline globally.
In the forum, First Vice President Ms. Lavinia Fratila and Vice President Mr. Florin Botonogu respectively presented keynote speeches with the topics of The Impact of the Russian - Ukrainian Conflict on European Union - International Cooperation: Win or Lose and Challenges of Globalization Faced by the European Union and Preparation for Future Crises in Health. After the speech, relevant scholars from Yunnan University had an active interaction with the two president, and discussed some issues. The lecture had received a positive response on the emergency management research of affiliated experts and young researchers at Yunnan University, and it engaged more people in the fight for the welfare of human society as a whole.
