First Vice President of Institute of International Exchange was invited to attend the online seminar at Xiamen University, China
On December 15, 2021, Lavinia Fratila, First Vice President of Institute of International Exchange, International Negotiations and Advanced Risk Management Expert of UNITAR (United Nations Institute for Training and Research), International Organizations Policy Expert of European Commission & European Council, attended the 3rd International Organizations Experience Week at Xiamen University, China, and delivered an online lecture on the topic of "Requirements and Considerations for Internship Work in International Organizations.
During the live broadcast of the lecture, Lavinia, not only introduced the requirements and considerations for internships in international organizations, but also answered various questions from students during the Q&A session.
Lavinia said, "I am very excited to have the opportunity to speak to Chinese students about international organizations. Although this lecture was conducted online, I still felt the energy and enthusiasm of everyone. The students were bright, they shared their ideas freely and were willing to invest their time and energy in internships in international organizations. Likewise, they were fluent in English, so communication was a bridge rather than a barrier for us. The whole lecture was very inspiring and I look forward to future opportunities like this to speak to Chinese students about international organizations."
